Bring Christ into your everyday life
Take Jesus Home is an English-language Catholic publication for people who want to carry the Gospel into ordinary days.
Each day we publish a reflection and a prayer for the Gospel the Church reads at Mass. The aim is simple: a few quiet minutes with the word of God that can shape the hours that follow, at home, at work, and with the people we meet.
What you will find here
The Daily Gospel page gives the day’s Scripture references, an original reflection, and a prayer. Around it we are building sections on prayers, saints, and Catholic teaching. Some of those sections are still being written and will grow over time.
How we handle Scripture
We give the references for the day’s readings and link to the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops for the complete texts. We do not reproduce Bible translations or liturgical texts on this site. Reflections and prayers are original writing.
Our commitments
We want this site to be faithful to Catholic tradition, reverent, and useful. We do not publish invented quotations, saints, feast days, or Scripture references, and we do not present our own reflections as official Church teaching. For the teaching of the Church, we point readers to the Catechism and to their own parish.
