Seeking a Worship Leader
Calvary Chapel Living Hope is looking for a Worship Leader. Here are some things you’ll want to know.
We are a discipleship church. That means that we are serious about our faith and eager to help people grow in their knowledge of God’s Word and practice their faith in daily life. Worship on Sunday morning is an important part of that training.
We love to sing and worship the Lord. We know that our faith is strengthened during worship and that we often experience personal breakthroughs during those times. We also recognize that people learn at church and practice at home, so we sing songs that are contemporary that people would hear on the radio if they would turn on a Christian music station.
We’re praying for the right person to come along side us and help us to worship effectively. Here are some details.
- Vision – You must understand worship and have the ability to draw people of all ages into worship. It’s great if you can play a musical instrument well, but that’s secondary to having a heart for worship. We have children, young people, and adults in our service and we have a mission to pass the faith on to the next generation. Intergenerational worship is strategic for us in that plan.
- Tasks – You will plan the worship set for each Sunday with Pastor Scott, prepare the slides, help set up and take down on Sunday morning, and incorporate others into a worship team as the Lord leads.
- Finances – We will provide $250 a week but the greatest benefit is that you’ll be contributing to the lives of others, using your gifts, and making a difference in God’s kingdom.
